Minimal Tokyo is proud to present “Connaisseur Recordings Label Night” at club UNIT on January 30th, 2009. Alex Flitsch, the label owner and Patrick Chardronnet, a Connaisseur artist will join Minimal Tokyo resident DJs Tatsuya, Ivan Kuzbass and Shu Okuyama to launch Connaisseur Recordings in Japan. They will be accompanied by a special visual set presented by Tokyo-based art and performance group Delaware.

Connaisseur Recordings have been offering highly sophisticated electronic music with distinctive cosmopolitan flavor since 2005. It has rapidly became one of the top German labels releasing deep house and minimal techno of highest standards. It's a home to such fine artists as Patrick Chardronnet, Daso, Ripperton, Simon Baker, Afrilounge, with Audiofly and Timo Maas joining the label in 2009.

This is the first Connaisseur Recordings night in Japan. It will feature guest artists PATRICK CHARDRONNET (Raum Musik, Connaisseur, Poker Flat) and the label owner, DJ ALEX FLITSCH. They will be accompanied by a special visual set presented by Tokyo-based art and performance group DELAWARE.
